Megyn Kelly and Actor D.L. Hughley got into a very intense debate on the Kelly file Wednesday night.   Kelly and Hughly argued about several #blacklivesmatter topics and police shootings.   The interview ended extremely awkward.  Both sides looked like they were happy it was over.

The debate was very typical until Kelly called out the race card:

“What shuts down all reasonable dialogue is throwing out the term ‘racism’ before it’s been proven.” – Kelly

This is when Hughes became enraged and replied with nonsense:

“The only place racism doesn’t exist is Fox News and the police department, That’s absolutely true.” – Hughley

“That’s insulting, You just insulted millions of people watching this channel.” – Kelly

“And I’m insulted by the things I hear on this network, so we’re even, I could care less about insulting people that insult me on a daily basis.” – Hughley

It seems that the issue is getting so bad that no one can have a reasonable debate about #blacklivesmatter and police. The #blacklivesmatter side usually gets hostile and starts insulting people. A few days ago a Fox News reporter was harassed when trying to ask a #blacklivesmatter protestor what the purpose of shutting down a highway was.

The #blacklivematter movement never makes considerable progress because of the self inflicted wounds caused by their hostility. People are less likely to agree with your message if you are shoving it in their face. Shutting down freeways and rioting upsets more people than it wins. You will not win any hearts with such tactics.

Hughley lost credibility for his argument as soon as he began justifying the “victim” having a firearm, but wasn’t trying to hear Megyn bring up the question of intentions by that “victim”. You can’t have a sensible debate with anyone who justifies criminal activities and a group established on the sole ideal of not being held accountable for crimes committed against civilized society, or taking the lives of those who are given the duty to serve and protect that society. So, Megyn, and anyone else, just stop wasting your time ‘”debating” with anyone who represents the radical hate/terrorist group, those… Read more »
